The Merrill Block, located at 163 Water Street in Exeter, NH, was built in 1873 and at the time was the largest commercial space in town.  One of the first tenants was W. H. C. Follansby Dry Goods and Carpets.  Our cocktail bar, The Follansby, will occupy the same space in the building and has adopted the name as a way to pay tribute to that early business.
